As requested, here is my slide stack bereft of wit and cynicism:
I just finished my presentation at this year's Velocity Conference. Thank you all for the warm reception and the positive feedback. This year's conference is going to be awesome. If you didn't make it this year make sure you sign up early next year; Velocity is not an event to be missed. If you want some more scalability goodness this year in conference form, consider attending Surge; it's going to kick ass.

Hi Theo,
I had buttonholed you after your talk to bitch about rabbitmq/erlang problems (and then we went into a discussion of zeromq... this is all to jog your memory :-) Don't know whether you ever got the message about nasty erlang spins resulting in rabbitmq hangs through the conference's messaging system so here's the link again:
http://erlang.2086793.n4.nabble.com/infinite-loop-when-beam-smp-compiled-with-O2-on-debian-lenny-td2124578.html
Note that my subject line for the bug report was misleading. It's not a compiler bug (phew..) but a genuine bug in erlang interpreter code.
Hope this helps
Chetan
